Blauer – 25th Anniversary

Blauer celebrates 25 years of style, art, and collective identity in Milan

The Salone d’Onore of the Triennale di Milano hosts Blauer – 25th Anniversary, an exclusive event celebrating twenty-five years of history, style, and innovation from a brand that has successfully blended American heritage with the Italian vision of fashion. Founded in Boston in 1936, Blauer has become a benchmark for technical uniforms for police forces and military units, embodying values of quality, performance, and durability. Thanks to the foresight of Enzo Fusco, Blauer arrived in Italy and has navigated two and a half decades of evolution without ever losing its identity. The event is curated by Felice Limosani, a creative director known for his ability to merge art, design, and storytelling. The installation is conceived as an immersive experience: a dialogue between photography, architecture, design, and sound design that transforms the hall into a visual orchestra, where every detail tells the story of Blauer and the Fusco family.

“Blauer entered our lives as a challenge, but turned into a family story. Over these twenty-five years, we have safeguarded its identity, guiding it through an evolution that speaks of authenticity, responsibility, and vision. Celebrating this anniversary means recognizing the value of the people who believed in the brand and continuing to imagine its future with the same courage with which we began.”Enzo Fusco

Family Grammar

To celebrate this important anniversary, Blauer presents Family Grammar, a project reflecting on the value of the collective and the family as a universal form of language. The installation in the Salone d’Onore transforms the monumentality of the space into an immersive experience: lecterns, photographs, and diffused sound lead visitors through an evocative blue path where the history and identity of Blauer come to life in a collective, cultural and artistic narrative. The exhibition-installation translates this concept into a journey in which art, photography, and fashion converse in balance, transforming the space into an immersive and sensorial story with masterful skill. It features contributions from ten internationally renowned photographers – Bruce Weber, James Mollison, David Drebin, Marco Glaviano, Stefano Babic, Richard Phibbs, Branislav Simoncik, Carlo Miari Fulcis, Rosy Di Stefano, and Riccardo Vimercati – whose images, illuminated like fine-art works, guide visitors through a visual score that celebrates strength, intimacy, and the spirit of the brand.

Family Grammar was born as a reflection on the choral dimension that unites individuals, generations, and visions. It is not a corporate event, but a cultural installation that stages a shared language where art, enterprise, and contemporary sensibility dialogue in harmony. The celebration of Blauer’s 25 years does not look to the past, but to the continuity of a vision that evolves while remaining authentic.” — Felice Limosani

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Blauer partners with Creative Director, stylist and pre-loved specialist Amy Bannerman and her upcycling label Francine, unveiling four bespoke leather jackets reworked from Blauer’s archive.
